Charleston, WV (May 28, 2009) - Saturday, May 30th, the West Virginia Power is scheduled to giveaway an Obama Bobblehead courtesy of 98.7 The Beat. However, U.S. Customs is currently holding the bobbleheads for an extended search in its Los Angeles warehouse. The bobbleheads have been in Customs since Wednesday, May 20th.

Although attempts have been made by the production company, it is unclear when the bobbleheads will be released. The West Virginia Power has attempted to contact President Obama to make him aware of the situation. Despite efforts by the production company and the team it is unlikely that the bobbleheads will arrive for the scheduled giveaway. Fans will instead receive a "Golden Ticket". The ticket will be good for one bobblehead upon their release from customs and arrival at Appalachian Power Park.

The bobbleheads feature President Obama in his high school basketball uniform. Not only is it a tribute to the President's love of the game, it is also promotes fitness and a healthy lifestyle, the underlying theme of this Saturday's game.
